Two Roanoke people face felony charges following a Roanoke County and Roanoke police investigation into multiple fraudulent charges on credit cards.
On July 8, a person reported fraudulent charges on their credit card to the Roanoke County Police Department, and while investigating, several more victims of credit card fraud in the Roanoke Valley were identified, according to a Roanoke County police news release.
Police conducted a search warrant at the residence of two suspects Wednesday morning. Police found several credit card manufacturing devices as well as fraudulently obtained prepaid credit cards with a value of more than $9,000, police said.
Sheendalie Joseph, a 26-year-old woman, and Eddie Hyacinthe, a 35-year-old man, both of Roanoke, were each charged with three counts of identity theft, according to online records.
