Details: The Analytics Support Specialist evaluates anticipated and realized success levels of various business processes and decisions through creation and analysis of internal reporting as well as external market data. The role seeks to streamline and improve business reporting in order to increase the efficiency of processes resulting in increased productivity and profitability through collaboration with the Corporate Analytics staff. The Specialist also establishes and maintains internal relationships to ensure timely availability of data as well as resolution of issues and concerns in regard to evolving areas of focus, as well as to increase content knowledge as it applies to this focus. Serves as a liaison between Corporate Analytics and internal customers. Partners and develops open communication with internal departments, such as Truckload Operations, Brokerage, Business Intelligence and Customer Operations to manage reporting and the overall availability of Corporate Analytics data. The Specialist will also trouble shoot any questions or concerns regarding current focus project, and to identify and evaluate any exceptions brought forth from these teams. Evaluates junior level business problem statements and processes through critical analysis of internal reporting. Proposes and implements enhancements or solutions based on these findings and continues to monitor success level in an effort to drive dynamic improvements in profitability to various Freightquote products. Responsible for the distribution of monthly reporting tools the leadership of the Brokerage teams use to run their teams, and make business decisions. Will also focus on various customers to evolve reporting to better align with the needs of stakeholders. Works closely with the Corporate Analyst group to maintain any tracking plans or documents to keep performance metrics readily available as they pertain to current projects. This includes keeping communication open and frequent in order to streamline these processes and improve efficiency, as well as verification of the results. Provide recommendations to help in anticipating future needs and requirements by accordingly researching the most effective ship modes and cost effective means. Works to upgrade personal skills and knowledge by conducting research on the Internet, Technical Journals, Magazines, Books, and through personal experiences. Manages personal skills to be efficient, organized, and productive.
