1:22 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of theft on Lake Street in Hillrose. The case is still under investigation.
9:30 p.m. Deputies responded to two reports of second-degree burglary, theft, criminal mischief and attempting to influence a public servant in the 26000 block of Highway 34. Miscellaneous items of unknown value were stolen. The case is still under investigation.
9 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of third-degree assault, harassment and domestic violence in the Blue Sky Preserve. The case is still under investigation.
8:44 a.m. Deputies performed a certified VIN inspection in the 400 block of Hospital Road.
11:33 a.m. Sheldon Howland, 26, of Akron, was arrested in the 32000 block of Highway 34 on suspicion of driving under suspension and speeding. He was held on $1,000 bond.
1:32 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of second-degree burglary, trespass and criminal mischief in the 14000 block of Highway 34. Sometime between 1 p.m. on July 31 and 1:32 p.m. on Aug. 6, $50 of damage was done to a roll-up door. The case is still under investigation.
7:04 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of possible theft in the 4000 block of Morgan County Road T.
1:34 p.m. Jeffrey Webster, 23, of Log Lane Village, was arrested in the 100 block of Maine Street on a warrant issued by Morgan County District Court for identity theft, auto trespass, criminal possession of identification documents, theft and unauthorized use of a financial transaction device, and a Failure to Comply warrant issued by the same court for illegal possession of marijuana concentrate. He was held on no bond.
2:40 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of fraud and identity theft in Morgan County. The case is still under investigation.
4:54 p.m. Manuel Gomez-Diaz, 56, of Snyder, was arrested in the 23000 block of Highway 71 on two Failure to Appear warrants issued by Morgan County District Court and the Lakewood Police Department for bribery, driving under restraint and failing to stop at a red light. He was held on no bond.
6:08 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a lost firearm in the 15000 block of Morgan County Road 1.
Colorado State Patrol Troop 3B
2:22 p.m. Troopers responded to a two-vehicle, no-injuries traffic accident near mile marker 141 on Highway 71. Jackson Wibbels, 18, of Colorado Springs, collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by Angela Vrolyk, 20, of Phoenix, Arizona, while both were slowing down for emergency vehicles that were parked on both the northbound and southbound shoulders of the highway. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Neither driver was cited for any traffic violations.
8:50 p.m. Apolinar Ibarra-Pena, 46, of Edinburg, Texas, was arrested near mile marker 126 on I-76 on suspicion of driving under the influence, speeding and driving without a valid license. Ibarra-Pena was held on $1,000 bond.
