U.S. border agents working a checkpoint near a small southern California border town stopped a sports utility vehicle with almost a million dollars worth of illegal drugs secreted under the rear seat and driven by a man almost 60 years.
Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Andrade port of entry near Winterhaven, CA, arrested a male Mexican citizen on August 26, after finding the trove of cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine hidden in the man’s vehicle.
