Born in Durham, NC, Charles followed his farther’s Army career all over the world with his family from Germany to Panama and all over the U.S . He was introduced to computers at a young age and performed his first hack into a telecom company before the age of 9. As a teen, his interest in the cyber world became more focused and he even began to educated peers in high school on computer technologies. Graduating early from high school Charles following in his fathers footsteps, joined the U.S. Army as a Missile Defense Crew Member. Charles quickly rose to leadership roles, consulting with Military Intelligence, Military Police Investigations and the U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Division on Cyber Crime, Digital Recovery and Hacking techniques.
Charles received several awards while in the U.S. Army including Letters of Commendation from Commanding Generals and the Army Commendation Medal for his role in developing, implementing, and securing communication infrastructures while deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After successfully completing six years of service with the U.S. Army’s Elite 82nd Airborne Division, he relocated to Colorado.
Tendell’s leadership and technical and tactical proficiency resulted in the overall protection and readiness of his men and his unit. His actions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom reflect outstanding credit upon himself, the Skystriker Battalion, The Falcon Brigade, The 82nd Airborne Division and the United States Army.

Going on to further his career as a Cyber Security Consultant for Boeing, Lockheed Martin; Dish Network; and many others. Charles honed in on the skills that would later get him accepted to the National Security Agency as a Global Network Exploitation and Vulnerability Analyst . Afterward, developing a Cyber Investigation firm he has lead thousands of investigations for local and federal law enforcement agencies nationwide.

Charles appears regularly on Fox News and The CW Television Network as a Cyber Security Expert on consumer breaches and alerts. Charles also presents educational seminars to countless audiences including guess lectures with the Colorado Bar Association, Arapahoe Community College, Community College of Aurora and Kaplan College.
