A+ mandatory and Microsoft cert (MCSE or MCDST) preferredBusiness Challenge to solve: Our Client is currently focused on implementing NAC (network access control) throughout the enterprise. This is part of a large initiative surrounding security for the healthcare environment. It will ensure that only users who need to access certain systems and applications are able to access them. This project will entail a lot of set up and breakdown of systems and hardware for our client’s locations.Expected Duration: 6 month contract; with potential extensions or permanent hire.Qualifications: Summary: The Technical Support Analyst level 1 (TSA I) responds to 2nd level technical support and operational customer support service needs for corporate and hospital customer base. Minimum Qualifications:Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in supporting various end users with hardware and software including procedural problems. Must have experience with Novell Netware, Windows desktop OS experience in a LAN/WAN environment. Licensure/Certifications: Prefer one or more of the following: MCDST, A+, Network +, HP APS Key Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Strong troubleshooting skills a must. Must be able to work autonomously as well as in a team. This position requires overtime, shift work, and on-call responsibilities.
