SANS’ annual DFIR Prague cyber security training event takes place on 3-15 October 2016. The event is held at the Angelo Hotel, in the Czech capital.
This focussed training event sees SANS host all eight courses from its DFIR curriculum. Schedules allowing, students can take two courses consecutively.
SANS will also host a Digital Forensics & Incident Response Summit at this event. This summit will feature leading speakers sharing insight and information about trending DFIR topics.

Instructors Teaching At DFIR Prague 2016
The following SANS Instructors lead IT security training during DFIR Prague 2016:
Chad Tilbury: Chad has been involved in intrusion detection and forensic investigations since 1998. He served as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Chad co-authored SANS Courses FOR408 and FOR508.
Philip Hagen: Philip began his security career in the US Air Force Academy, has worked in the IT security field since 1998 and is FOR572’s co-author.
Cindy Murphy: Cindy is a Detective with the City of Madison, WI Police Department and has been a Law Enforcement Officer since 1985. She is a certified forensic examiner and has been involved in computer forensics since 1999.
Lenny Zeltser: Lenny is a product management director at NCR Corp. Previously he led the enterprise security consulting practice at a major cloud service provider. Lenny is a member of SANS’ Board of Directors and holds the GIAC Security Expert Certification.
Jess Garcia: As an internationally renowned forensics and cyber security expert, Jess has over 20 years frontline experience.
Jake Williams: He has more than a decade of experience in secure network design, penetration testing, incident response, forensics, and malware reverse engineering. He co-authored FOR610 and FOR526 and contributed to SEC760.
Rob Lee: Rob is a founding member of the US Air Force’s 609th Information Warefare Squadron and has over 18 years of cyber security experience. Rob is curriculum lead and author for digital forensic and incident response training at the SANS.
Sarah Edwards: Sarah is a senior digital forensic analyst who has worked with various federal law enforcement agencies and has performed a variety of investigations including: Computer intrusions, criminal, counter-intelligence, counter-narcotic, and counter-terrorism.
