DHS will expand education
in critical infrastructure
The DHS National Protection and Programs Directorate plans to award a contract to an educational institution, corporation or other organization that can “maintain, refresh and expand” the existing DHS Higher Education and Professional Development Programs in Infrastructure Protection.
The Directorate’s senior outreach and programs division began a higher education initiative in 2009 designed to address the gaps that then existed in educational programs focused on the critical infrastructure missions of DHS.
