Details: Job Summary: Protects valuable information and maintains the confidentiality and integrity of data through:Knowledge of security management, network security & protocols, data and application of solutions.Knowledge of industry trends and current and emerging risks.Advises ITS leadership on enterprise security strategy, security architecture/engineering/operations, and security design work; works with business stakeholders to define the security and privacy policies.Supports security and privacy audits and develops a mitigation strategy.Coordinates and manages security compliance within security management function. Essential Duties: Develop and structure the organization to ensure technical risk to CHI is identified and managed in a timely manner.Develop and standardize processes and procedures relating to IT Security risk across the technology organizationMaintain a solid understanding and process to continually research and address security concerns.Balances risk vs. business needs while ensuring policies are implemented in accordance with corporate-wide policies and external regulatory obligations.Report progress on Security Management and Threat activities to management on a consistent basis. Develop a formal Security Management roadmap for Security integrating with the appropriate groups such as project office, infrastructure, applications etc.Assist in the development and implementation of IT security & control architecture.Manage and mentor security staff.
