Details: Job Responsibilities:GDIT analysts/programmers provide ongoing analytic support for the AMSA/AFHSC mission. Generally, the analytic team members are under the supervision of an onsite program manager with extensive oversight by the government team. All analyses are under the direction of the government technical representative (or designee) that will approve the initiation of all analyses. Delivery date and time of are determined case-by-case but follow the established protocols and methods used at AMSA/AFHSC. In addition, the team supports the maintenance of the Request Log and Report Log and the production of the Monthly Activity Report describing customers served and reports produced. The GDIT team supports a variety of taskings including ad hoc requests with quick turnaround, requests for MSMR articles, ad hoc requests that involve coordination with the POC and AMSA staff, and long-term requests. The team provides epidemiological and biostatistical analytic support to AMSA for responding to customer information requests and publishing the MSMR and other reports that AMSA may require. The team executes data analyses using scientifically sound, state-of-the-art epidemiological methods.The team produces reports for consideration for publication in the MSMR. These reports will include summaries of methods, results (e.g., tables and graphs), and biases. The contractor team shall also work with the government technical representative to plan epidemiological studies for publication submission in a peer-reviewed, medical or scientific journal. All reports and deliverables that result from this task will be discussed with and approved by the government technical representative. The government technical representative will be responsible for release and dissemination of all reports and deliverables. All data and analytic products of this tasking will be the property of the USACHPPM. The government technical representative will approve use of the outputs from this contract. The team shall provide analytical support for the effort to expand capabilities of DMSS to incorporate more Tri-Service data and to produce reports for a broader customer base and for the transition of AMSA to a DoD function. The team shall perform all functional activities necessary to support these goals, including production of reports maintaining functional documentation; support of work groups involved in developing DoD-wide medical surveillance; analysis, planning, and implementation of changes in functional processes; and planning and conduct of training for staff and customers. The team may be required to prepare ad hoc briefings, white papers, and other types of reports that summarize analytical activities and studies. Required Education:Requires Masters degree. Required Work Experience:Requires 8-10 years experience.
