Renee Zellweger has been pictured for the first time as she reprises the role of Bridget Jones, 14 years after starring in the original.
The 46-year-old filmed scenes for third installment Bridget Jones’ Baby alongside Sally Philips and newbie Patrick Dempsey in London‘s Greenwich park on Tuesday.
And wearing a ‘Baby On Board’ badge, the much-loved character covered up what seemed to be her new baby bump as she dressed in jeans, a plaid shirt and bulky wellingtons to act out her lines.
In a nod to the family-orientated nature of Bridget’s new life, a group of children played nearby and the group gathered round for a picnic.
The American actress will reprise her role in the third film; due to be released next year as a big screen adaptation of Helen Fielding’s October 2013 novel: the third and final book.
