Maryland has over 3,600 manufacturing companies and 1,200 private sector cyber security companies. Combined, these two industries employ nearly one hundred and fifty thousand Marylander’s a year.
Hogan believes attention to these industries will make our economy stronger and serve as a catalyst to a better quality of life. Since entering office, Governor Hogan has gone on economic development trade missions to South Korea and Israel; where he just recently signed Maryland as a sister state.
These efforts have added up to 50 new manufacturing and cyber security jobs to Maryland alone.
