Information Security Manager
Details: Currently LifeSouth is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to fill the Information Security Manager position in Gainesville, FL. This position is responsible for the design, oversight and ongoing management of the information security program, including policies, procedures, technical systems and workforce training in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data within all healthcare organization information systems. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Responsible for implementing, managing and enforcing information security derivatives within regulatory mandates to protect PHI including HIPAA and The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act provisions Ensure the ongoing integration of information security with business strategies and privacy requirements Lead the security incident response team in prevention, investigation, mitigation and reporting activities; ensure appropriate enforcement sanctions for information security breaches Conduct risk analyses to assess the probability of risks occurring and the impact on the organization Recommend system enhancements via capital and operational budget planning to keep pace with privacy and security survey regulatory activities and participate in accreditation surveys with external survey bodies
