Job Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Heavy Civil Contractor based in Phoenix, AZ, seeking IT Manager to support the digital infrastructure of the company’s corporate office and satellite offices the southwest region.
Lead a team to provide tools and resources to geographically dispersed employees performing complex construction projects.
Ensure maximum uptime of enterprise voice and data platforms that support internal employee business functions
Function as the customer contact for service providers and consultants.
Manage connectivity of 600 employees using mobile phones, tablet and desktop computers.
Document the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures
Manage desktop support and break fix functions, including help desk tracking and metric reporting.
Act as an agent of change in performance and design of network systems.
The role requires a leadership presence and an ability to work with the IT leadership of the parent company to understand and anticipate evolving business needs.
Establish conforming and consistent hardware and system platforms.
Assist with planning and implementing systems and network integrations following M&A activity.
8-10 years managing networking/Servers engineering projects (switches, servers, SAN, routers, firewalls, etc.), including design, documentation, and implementation.
Strong Operations and Implementation management skills.
Must have strong work ethic, hands-on mentality and the ability to multi-task.
Good communication skills.
Experience with ERP systems and understanding of databases.
Ability to work in a small and highly collaborative team environment.
Experience in supporting Hi-Growth firms, with several sites and work locations
Innovative problem solving skills and system comprehension
Broad technical knowledge including the primary infrastructure technologies in use by the applications in the portfolio being supported
Extreme proficiency Microsoft Technology, including Active Directory, Hyper V, servers, DB, Exchange, etc
Computer Science Degree or equivalent
