Physicians Choice Laboratory Services is seeking a Network Administrator to join our fast-growing team.Job Description:This position is responsible for building, deploying, and providing support for the wired and wireless LAN/WAN environment. This position provides oversight for all components of network support technologies related to routers, switches, firewalls, and IDP devices. This position provides day to day operations support and project-related activity as needed. Main Duties:• Build, Maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure to include router, switches, firewalls, and IDP devices in a multi-campus environment • Build, Maintain, and troubleshoot Wireless Networks and Access Points.• Recommend, support, and upgrade all routers, switches, firewalls, WAP’s, and IDP devices. • Recommend, deploy, and maintain network bandwidth utilization tools• Create and update high-level and detailed network diagrams for all sections of the LAN/WAN including circuits, physical maps, and logical topology • Perform backups of all running configuration files for the routers, switches, firewalls, and IDP devices• Disaster Recovery and fail over planning and implementation• Ensure LAN/WAN infrastructure is monitored and secured; makes recommendations for improvements; Assists in the creation of standard operating procedure and policy pertaining to the LAN/WAN operations and maintenance• Participate in afterhours LAN/WAN upgrade deployment and break fix activities as neededBenefits include health, vision, dental, long-term disability and life insurance.
