IT Systems Engineer (Oracle, Weblogic)
Details: Job DescriptionThe IT Systems Engineer will work as part of a team responsible for operating and maintaining IT infrastructure services; including installation, configuration, testing and support of the IT infrastructure. The incumbent will also provide IT project support for multiple project and initiatives.Responsibilities• Support Oracle Weblogic middleware server systems running on Linux platforms, supporting multiple custom applications and Oracle Identity Manager and Oracle Access Manger.• Design, build maintain and operate multiple Weblogic application servers across multiple domains and environments• Install and configure server instances, Weblogic domains running on Linux OS platforms• Manage and apply patch OS and updates for OIM/OAM• Manage server instances for OIM/OAM• Manage password policies and authorization policies for OIM/OAM• Manage system properties, notification templates, scheduled tasks and events for OIM/OAM• Install connectors for OIM/OAM• Performance tuning on application server, backend database, connectors and application cache• Configure logging and audits for OIM/OAM• Deliver IT Services to multiple project teams by facilitating requirements definition, solution recommendation, system design, configuration and implementation.• Recommend, design and implement IT solutions in a high availability IT system environment.• Recommend, develop and document IT Processes in keeping with existing policies, as well as defining new policies. • Provide Tier 2/3 Weblogic OIM/OAM technical support to the IT Service Desk. • Work with the IT Infrastructure Team to ensure that all Weblogic server systems are running the most current supported version of software and firmware and are in compliance with standards.
