Eunice Boddie, 62, of the 2200 block of Dover Road, Waukegan, was charged July 28 with driving under the influence and speeding at least 35 miles per hour in excess of the speed limit during a traffic stop near Skokie Valley Road and Park Avenue West. She also was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol. Her court date is Sept. 2.
Devell Leatherwood, 24, of the 10000 block of South Forest Avenue, Chicago, was charged July 31 with driving under the influence and improper lane usage during a police stop near Clavey Road and Green Bay Road. Leatherwood is to appear in court Sept. 2.
Courtney M. Crosby, 22, of the 2600 block Bentley Road, Highland Park, was charged July 29 with domestic battery after police responded to a complaint in the 2600 block of Bentley Road. Crosby was to appear in court for arraignment Aug. 10.
David Steven Silver, 57, of the 2900 block of West Balmoral Avenue, Chicago, was charged Aug. 1 with driving on a suspended license and possession of marijuana during a traffic stop near Clavey Road and the Edens Expressway. Silver is to appear in court Aug. 24.
Police received a report July 25 that one or more offenders had spray-painted a piece of playground equipment in the 100 block of Central Avenue between 8 a.m. July 22 and 8 a.m. July 25.
Police received a report July 30 that someone had defaced a building in the 900 block of North Avenue with chalk.
BURGLARY TO VEHICLE
Items were reported stolen from a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of Taylor Avenue between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. July 28.
A business in the 1800 block of Second Street reported that a female offender had stolen merchandise during the afternoon hours of July 29.
A cell phone was reported stolen from a business in the 1800 block of Second Street during the evening hours July 29.
A utility trailer was reported stolen from a driveway in the 900 block of Green Bay Road on July 30.
A license plate was reported stolen from a parked vehicle in the 1600 block of Second Street on July 26.
