Senior Business IT Consultant
Details: Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Meet with key business and IT leadership personnel to communicate strategy and gather feedback Develop transformation toolkit of communication mediums (Presentations, blogging, videos, informal communication, etc.) and messages that enable the program, IT leadership, and other impacted leaders to efficiently manage change. Evangelist for ITSM program and service management processes through regular communication to sponsors and cross-functional stakeholders via many different channels Develop training and certification program that enables IT’s workforce to gain the necessary skills to complete the transformation to a service provider Develop and execute program communication strategy that communicates status, upcoming events, and celebrates accomplishments Required Skills Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems. Experience participating in an ITSM program of similar size with intimate knowledge of ITSM best practices (ITIL, COBIT, etc.) Technical experience working in IT Strong interpersonal skills; customer-centric attitude; team player and builder Strong business acumen, leadership and organizational change management skills Proven ability to develop and execute results-driven internal communications and training strategies that are aligned with business goals and objectives Ability to create and implement internal communications programs, with a dedication to quality and innovative thinking Excellent writer and editor Solid presentation skills Expert in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Strong initiative and ability to handle multiple projects/roles in an evolving environment Certificate(s): ITIL V3 Foundation and advanced certifications (preferred)
