Ships that have called on ports in Yemen face security restrictions in U.S.
The U.S. Coast Guard has announced that, effective on Sept. 18, vessels that have visited a port in Yemen during its last five port calls cannot visit the United States unless they comply with certain tighter security measures.
As such, Yemen becomes the sixteenth nation facing such restrictions on their entry into the U.S., says a Federal Register notice published by the Coast Guard on Sept. 4.
