Details: Job Classification: Direct Hire Our client in Downtown Atlanta, GA is looking for a Windows Operations Supervisor/Manager.Job Duties: Be a part of our Windows Operations Support team managing over 4,500 servers!-Supervise group of technical professionals in the Windows Operations group. -Manage day-to-day organizational processes, including performance management, SLA management, and project management. -Acting as Liaison and Point of contact for customers. -Evaluating employee performance and conducting reviews. -Ensures that appropriate team members are monitoring, analyzing and evaluation performance and working on resolution of identified degradation trends and problem areas (Performance Management). -Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential (Resource/Demand Management). -Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestion for change. -Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. -Understand operations excellence, process improvements, and implements processes that offer streamlined operations for gained efficiencies, cost reductions, and higher levels of service. -Maintains competency in emerging technology/best practices. -Oversight for projects and request for work ensuring projects are delivered on-time, on budget and with quality.Work Experience/Skills Required-3+ year’s supervisory experience -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Ability to learn quickly -3+ years MS Windows 2000/2003 system administration. -1-3 years experience with server virtualization. -Good analytical and problem solving skills. -Ability to share technical knowledge with team members. -Ability to prioritize and organize daily tasks for the team to ensure service level agreements are met -Good customer service skills -Ability and desire to take ownership, seeing tasks and projects through to satisfaction and completion Must have Skills:- 3-5+ years Management experience doing performance reviews, budgets, and team metrics. - 5+ years Windows environment supervisory/management work experience - Experience managing a team of 6-10 people including contractors and permanent employees Join TEKsystems® and get your career on the fast track.
