The Fultondale Police Department announced the arrests Sunday of 11 men they say are involved in a child predator operation.None of the suspects arrested are from Fultondale. Ten of them are being held in the Jefferson County Jail on bond.Jamonte Jackson, 25, of Bartow, Georgia, is charged with traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, and electronic solicitation of a child. His bond is set at $90,000.Domingo Cruz, 34, of Bessemer is charged with traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, and electronic solicitation of a child. His bond is set at $90,000.Alexader Osala, 32, of Bessemer is charged with traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, electronic solicitation of a child, aggravated assault of a police officer, and resisting arrest. His bond is set at $108,000.Robert Newton, 22, of Trussville is not currently in the Jefferson County Jail because he had been in an accident. In an attempt to escape arrest, police say he backed into an unmarked police vehicle, but refused medical treatment. He faces charges of traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, electronic solicitation of a child, attempting to elude, and resisting arrest. Police worked with Covenant Rescue Group in Gardendale in this operation.
