WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. AND BREAKING NEWS IN LEXINGTON. ANOTHER TEENAGER CHARGED IN CONNECTION TO THE THREATS MADE TO LEXINGTON SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. LEXINGTON POLICE SAY A 15 YEAR OLD STUDENT WAS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF FELONY COMMUNICATING A THREAT OF MASS VIOLENCE ON EDUCATION PROPERTY. THOSE CHARGES ARE FOR THREATS MADE BACK ON OCTOBER 3RD AND FIFTH. THIS IS THE FOURTH TEENAGER CHARGED IN CONNECTION TO THOSE THREATS AT LEXINGTON SCHOOLS IN EARLY OCTOBER. Police say in early October, six separate threats of violence were posted to various social media platforms against Lexington Senior High School and Lexington Middle School.

An additional student has been charged after making threats to Lexington High School, according to the Lexington Police Department. Officers said they worked with Lexington City School to investigate and respond to the threats made towards both Lexington Senior High School and Lexington Middle School. On Friday, officers announced they have charged a 15-year-old Lexington High School student with two counts of felony communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property related to threats made towards the school on Oct. 3 and Oct. 5. Previously, officers charged the following in relation to the threats:

14-year-old Lexington Senior High School student:

  • Felony communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property related to a threat made towards Lexington Senior High School on Oct. 4.

15-year-old Lexington Senior High School student:

  • Felony communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property related to the Oct. 9 threat made towards Lexington Senior High School.

14-year-old student at Lexington Senior High School:

  • Felony communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property
  • Two additional counts of misdemeanor communicating threats to individuals related to an Oct. 10 threat made towards Lexington Middle School and two staff members.
