Kannur: Two people were arrested for the murder of a lorry driver in front of the office of the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Kannur on Monday. The arrested individuals are Shabeer and Althaf.
The accused hacked Kanichar native Jinto, who was sleeping in his lorry at the time of the incident.
Jinto tried to escape but succumbed to injuries.He was found lying on the road.
Following the incident, police nabbed the accused and questioned them. Police revealed that the accused attacked the lorry driver during a theft attempt.
