The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
Jose Luis Mendoza Herrera, 22, 7114 Corbina Road No. 71 — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment.
Evan Byron Townley, 63, 3153 N. Perkins Ferry Road, Moss Bluff — aggravated battery. Bond: $75,000.
Gregory Lynn Botley, 26, 1011 W. 18th St. — domestic abuse battery.
Jamar Joseph Lee, 39, homeless — failure to register and notify as a sex offender or child predator; resisting an officer; parole detainer.
Ben G. Weaver, 41, 875 Sistrunk Road No. 2 — simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000; two counts theft less than $1,000; three counts simple burglary; two counts simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000; theft less than $1,000; unauthorized entry of a place of business; theft of a motor vehicle from $5,000 but less than $25,000; theft from $5,000 but less than $25,000. Bond: $61,000.
Leroy Joseph Touson, 21, 1928 N. Lincoln St. — attempted second-degree murder. Bond: $250,000.
Paul Clayton Rubin, 48, 1825 9th St. — home invasion; simple battery. Bond: $70,000.
Derrick Wayne Leday, 46, 4257 5th Ave. No. 153 — simple burglary. Bond: $7,500.
