Summary

  • Kris Foster from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way had a confusing fundraiser, but she clarified that her account was hacked and asked fans not to donate yet.
  • Fans were skeptical about Kris’ fundraiser when she shared a GoFundMe page without context, and some even called her a scammer.
  • Other 90 Day Fiancé stars have faced similar issues with hacked accounts, but hopefully Kris can regain access to continue her donation work.

Kris Foster from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way posted an unfortunate update about her confusing fundraiser. The 40-year-old Alabama woman has been baffling over the past few months. During her time in The Other Way season 4, Kris became notorious for hiding things from her Columbian partner, Jeymi Noguera. She also became known for being paranoid as well as her obsession with weapons. When Kris debuted on the show, she was accused of being addicted to drugs and wasn’t trustworthy. While some of those sentiments remain, she has received a bit of support for her donation work.

Kris has been promoting offerings and helping people in need through her Instagram. However, her last donation post confused her followers, who called her out for being a potential scammer. The 40-year-old reality star just gave an update on her most recent fundraiser.

90 Day Fiancé‘s Kris Foster posted an Instagram Story asking fans not to donate yet. She added, “Don’t pay into this account because it was hacked.” Kris said she could no longer access her account and would soon make another one. She emotionally wrote, “I’m heartbroken over this when trying to do good and can’t even do that.”

Why Are 90 Day Fiancé Fans Skeptical About Kris Foster’s Fundraiser?

The issue started in the last week of July when Kris shared a photo of a GoFundMe donation page titled “Ding Dong Ditch.” As expected, 90 Day Fiancé viewers were confused by the post and felt baffled that the reality star had shared no context for it. Within hours, Kris’ page was full of comments calling her out for asking for weird donations. She was called a scammer and questioned over why she was asking for money. The Alabama woman’s lack of reply at the time and her pre-existing controversial image further ruined the issue.

It is good that Kris deleted her last post and decided to warn fans. Many other co-stars have faced a similar issue. Previously, Big Ed claimed that Liz Woods’ account met the same fate. He posted a video stating that his partner got hacked and shared the proof. Something similar happened to former star Ashley Martson, who also revealed that someone had hacked her social media. Fortunately, most stars were able to regain access to their accounts. Hopefully, the same happens to Kris so she can continue the good donation work she’s doing nowadays.

Still, it will be long before Kris can alter her image for good. While many controversial 90 Day Fiancé cast members have transformed their image since appearing on the show, it has taken a lot of time. Kris must also prove herself consistently if she wants to do the same. As for now, she is doing good work and seems to be getting support from many followers and co-stars. One of her biggest supporters is The Other Way season 4 alum Debbie Aguero, who has always cheered on Kris and defended her on social media.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
