Act Like A Lawyer, Think Like A Hacker

Is a Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

Taught By Real Hackers And Cyber Security Professionals

Act Like A Lawyer, Think Like A Hacker is a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) with 2 Total CLE Hours.  This CLE course is like know other cyber security training any attorney to take.

When Robert Mueller was with the FBI, he stated “there are 2 types of companies, those who have been hacked and those that haven’t been hacked yet.”  The biggest problem companies and government agencies make, is hiring people to protect their networks based on resumes, instead of skill sets. Because of this, hackers have and always will win.

CISO vs Hacker

When a company hires a person to become their CISO, CTO or CSO, they are more impressed with the college they went to, type of degree they have, and certification credentials as a CEH or CISSP.

A Practitioner with years of experience in grey or black-hat hacking, will have the skill sets not taught in college, but the exposure and expertise that most certifications are limited to.

Compliance vs Security

We will demonstrate to lawyers that a company can be in compliance but not secure. They should hire people based more on their skill sets, then the company can be both in compliance and secure.
