Attorney for former Shreveport news anchor ‘vehemently denies’ allegations raised by local predator hunters | #childpredator | #onlinepredator | #sextrafficing

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)— Former local news anchor Bill Lunn has retained an attorney who released a statement on his behalf in which he “vehemently denies” the allegation that he engaged in sexually explicit online communications with a girl who identified herself as a minor.

The investigation was initiated after three young men pretended to be underage girls to expose local predators attempting to engage in sexual activities with minors.

On Monday, it was revealed that one of the alleged predators was a local news anchor at another station.

Lunn’s attorney at J. Dhu Thomspon sent a letter addressing the recent coverage:

“It is our preliminary understanding that this incident was not the result of a law enforcement investigation but rather one done by private individuals. Our primary concern at this time is that law enforcement receives all evidence surrounding this incident so that they can make a thorough and complete review.

“Mr. Lunn has cooperated with authorities and vehemently denies any allegations of wrongdoings. It is our hope that after a thorough review of all the evidence surrounding this matter, that Mr. Lunn will be shown to be innocent and cleared of these allegations.”

This is an ongoing investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.
