A suspected Australian hacker, subject of an interpol alert, has been blocked from entering the country, Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Norman Tansingco said.

Tansingco identified in a statement the Australian as Risteski Borche, 40, who was intercepted last Dec. 21 by the BI’s Border Control and Enforcement Unit (BCIU) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

“He was denied entry, and was recommended to be included in the BI’s blacklist,” the BI said.

The Australian arrived in the country aboard a Cebu Pacific flight from Sydney, Australia.

“Risteski is an Australian of Macedonian descent, and is subject of an interpol alert,” the bureau said.

“Risteski was said to be wanted in Macedonia for unauthorized entering into a computer system, in violation of Article 251 of the criminal code of the Republic of Macedonia. He faces 4 years imprisonment in the said country,” it revealed.
