City of Lebanon

Shots Fired – On Oct. 19, police responded to the area of 8th and Church streets for a report of shots fired. Police located an unoccupied white BMW parked on the west side of North 8th Street, north of Church Street, with numerous bullet holes. Numerous spent cartridges were located at the northeast corner of 8th and Church streets. A single shooter appeared to be involved, and a witness described the suspect’s vehicle as a white Chrysler 300. Anyone with any information regarding this incident or the suspect vehicle is asked to contact Lebanon city police Sgt. Keith Uhrich or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.


East Hanover Township

Hit-and-Run – At 9 p.m. Sept. 28, a single-vehicle hit-and-run crash occurred when the driver of a 2000 Honda Accord failed to maintain their lane while negotiating a right curve. The Honda left the road on the left side and struck a tree, then fled the scene. No other persons were involved, and no damage to personal property was reported. The Honda was towed from the scene by Joe May’s Towing.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic – At approximately 4:11 p.m. Oct. 11, a crash occurred on SR 501 North. A 2013 Buick Verano was traveling south in the right lane of SR 501 North when it went into a nearby cornfield. The driver of the Buick reported that he fell asleep while driving and was not injured. The Buick was driven from the scene. Police charged the driver with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
