Tinder recently confirmed that it’s testing a new video feature – ‘live trivia’ to make the experience more interactive for users. Test will be released only to a few users and currently there’s no information around when and if the feature would be officially launched in the app.

As reported by The Verge, the feature has been designed to help Tinder experiment with live video and matching up people at the same time. This is why there’s no specific time set as to when the live trivia will show up. It’s not completely clear at the moment as to how the game will work, however, the report says that the game will take place between a group of people who go live and there’s also going to be live chat.
“Similar to our first digital shared experience offered on Tinder, Swipe Night, we plan to bring more of these activities to Tinder in the future. However, these concepts are only a test and may never launch. We look forward to providing more information when it’s available,” said Tinder.

Tinder has recently been playing with new features to make user experience more interactive on its platform. It recently announced that it plans to introduce a one-on-one video chat feature in the app and is expected to be released to the app later this year.
The company had also announced that it will be making its Passport feature for free to all members. The passport feature allows you to connect with users from all around the world. The feature is usually limited to Plus & Gold members on Tinder.
