Individual will be responsible for delivering significant cost savings/avoidance, and monitoring contact compliance to negotiated SUEZ Water supplier IT Services and Telecommunications agreements.  Individual will have specific experience in information technology outsourced services and telecommunications categories, but must also possess the sourcing skills/background to assume responsibility for other categories as appropriate.  Responsibilities will also include implementation and communication of contract content to internal stakeholders to ensure adoption and program compliance.

Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with SUEZ Business Technology Services (BTS) team to identify, execute and monitor IT-related initiatives.  Requires excellent negotiation skills and competencies in IT/Telecom contract requirements/nuances.  Selected individual will work closely with SUEZ Water CIO and global Category Manager for both North American and global IT hardware, software and services projects.  Collaborate (as appropriate) with global Procurement function on negotiations.  Develop and lead the holistic Sourcing process, including but not limited to RFx’s including competitive bidding process, supplier evaluation/selection, price and SLA/KPI negotiation and partnering with Legal on review of agreement Terms & Conditions.

Required Skills

Must have familiarity of market trends and key suppliers in the relevant space.  Candidate must be professional, capable of developing presentations and comfortable interacting with internal/external stakeholders and senior management.  Must demonstrate thought leadership in moving IT and Procurement strategies forward with respect to IT and other Indirect categories.  Demonstrated track record of delivering results for large/complex projects in a matrix environment.  Strong written and oral communication skills, decision making/problem solving and influencing and team building skills.

Act as SCM representative on IT Services/Telecom projects, partnering with internal Business Technology Services stakeholders at all levels.  Remain abreast of industry trends and leverage that insight to provide strategic direction and enhance support for related sourcing initiatives.  Drive continuous improvement for assigned categories of spend, ensuring post-contract compliance for executed agreements.  Conduct RFx’s/Auctions, analyze results, lead negotiations and implementation.  Support the contracting process, acting as liaison between business unit and Legal.  Drive vendor rationalization, process standardization and adherence to policies/procedures for in-scope categories of spend.  Collaborate with suppliers to identify/implement continuous improvement and innovation opportunities that deliver cost savings and process efficiencies.  Facilitate resolution of any supplier management issues, ensuring business continuity and risk mitigation.  Ability to juggle multiple projects.  Effectively work as part of a team or independently to manage and successfully implement projects.

Required Experience

Minimum 4 years of strategic sourcing experience for multi-national organization.  Minimum 2 years of IT procurement experience.  CPM/CPSM certification preferred.  Experience negotiating and implementing complex IT/Telecom contracts and associated terms and conditions.  Ability to perform risk and financial analysis of procurement suppliers and opportunities. Knowledge of e-procurement and auctioning platforms a plus.
