Check Point has earned the prestigious “Champion” status in the 2023 Canalys Global Cybersecurity Leadership Matrix.  This recognition reflects not only exceptional channel management and market performance, but also continued growth in the cybersecurity industry.

Check Point has received the Canalys Champion recognition for three consecutive years:

The Canalys Cybersecurity Leadership Matrix report assesses which vendors are playing an integral role in driving the success of the cybersecurity partner ecosystem. It takes in three primary types of input: analyst assessments, ecosystem feedback and performance metrics. Those awarded Champion status  have a combination of the highest and most consistent scores in the Candefero Vendor Benchmark, generated growth and profits for partners, and have maintained strong momentum.

As mentioned by Canalys, Check Point has received positive partner sentiment, and rated highly for its focus on continually improving processes to drive simplicity and ease of doing business. Its willingness to boost growth opportunities and increase profitability for partners, as well as focusing on training and enablement were key factors for its Champion status. Overall, Check Point continued to demonstrate its commitment to growing the share of revenue generated through the channel.

“Check Point, a trailblazer in cybersecurity innovation for over 30 years, proudly maintains its ‘Champion’ designation in the Canalys Cybersecurity Leadership Matrix,” announced Francisco Criado, VP of Check Point’s Global Partner Ecosystem Organization. “With the launch of our new partner program in 2024, we are excited to continue this legacy together with our partners. Our commitment is to empower them with exceptional resources and tools to provide unparalleled cybersecurity services.”

Canalys highlights that, “Check Point strengthened its position in the cybersecurity ecosystem, as it optimized engagement and enablement processes within it’s partner program to capitalize on key growth areas, including MSSPs. It’s quality of account management and technical support continued to be highly rated by partners.”

The report underscores several key strengths for Check Point, including:

  • Quality of account management and technical support
  • Free base training, benefits for specializations
  • Partner enablement through marketplaces
  • Support and enablement of MSSP partner models

The Canalys Global Cybersecurity Leadership Matrix considers 30 cybersecurity vendors to assess their global channel performance over the last 12 months. It combines partner feedback from Canalys’ Vendor Benchmark tool with an independent assessment by Canalys analysts of each vendor’s momentum in the channel based on its investments, strategy, market performance and execution.
