The Global Services Group has a current opening for a Counter-Intel Computer Forensics Examiner at our Customer site in St LouisJob Description: The selected candidate will perform in-depth forensics
examinations of computers and other electronic devices. The investigator uses a variety of digital forensics tools to conduct forensic examination activities including assisting in the analysis of network, computer and other devices which may contain digital evidence.


Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • All applicants must have an active TS/SCI clearance and agree to undergo a polygraph examination to be considered for this position
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 7 – 10 years’ experience as a computer forensics/computer crime investigator
  • A successful candidate will also have counterintelligence (CI) and analytical experience
  • Additional experience in lieu of degree may be considered
  • The applicant should have knowledge in the proper use of computer forensics and security compliance tools
  • The applicant should have knowledge of modern Windows Server platforms and desktop operating systems, as well as general understanding of respective file system internals
  • Applicants should have experience finding, retrieving, analyzing, preserving, and maintaining digital information from computers and network equipment
  • The applicant should also have experience maintaining “chain of custody” by following standard rules of digital evidence
  • The candidate should have an in-depth working knowledge in DOD and IC intelligence regulations, be familiar with intelligence oversight
    principles, must possess superior writing and briefing skills, and be
    capable of providing polished analysis documentation
  • The candidate must possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of foreign adversaries’ security and intelligence services, terrorist organizations, and cyber threats they pose to DoD and IC partners
  • Must be willing to perform shift work
