Lock Haven City staff are warning residents not to download the proposal linked to the above document. Staff emails have been hacked and began sending emails for “alleged” proposals included in attachments Tuesday afternoon.

LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven City staff are warning area residents to be wary of messages sent from its lockhaven.gov email addresses.
Tuesday afternoon, staff became aware of emails being sent from various staff – including its city manager and planner among others – that feature two links for an alleged “proposal.”
The email reads:
“Hello, Please find the attached proposal for your review. Your insights and feedback are invaluable to us. All instructions are included, kindly ensure that you have read the entire package in detail prior to making any inquiries.”
Staff warn the attachments, a PDF and Word document, feature a link to an alleged proposal to download. They are telling residents to avoid opening these emails.
Staff are working on a resolution to the issue, and will notify the public once it’s been resolved.
