Senator Telo Taitague, the vice-chair of the Legislative Commitee on Appropriations, talked about the public policy effort required to properly handle this new arena. She told KUAM News, “One, to bring awareness to everybody. We’re the voice of the people. So we need to note the importance of it. And two, identify a funding source. We have the Office of Technology at our grasp, but only for certain line agencies.”
