COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — Collinsville Police said they arrested a man who they say has not registered as a sex offender since 2017 on Wednesday.

FOX23 obtained body cam footage of Owasso Police who pulled Alan Dean Krueger over for expired tags on Thanksgiving.

Krueger was convicted of forcible sodomy in San Bernardino, California in 1996.

“They ran his name in the system and came up as a sex offender as non-compliance,” Sergeant Josh Ray with the Collinsville Police Department said.

Ray said after the traffic stop, Owasso Police called his unit to let them know there was a non-compliant sex offender living in Collinsville.

In the body camera footage, you hear Krueger admit to not registering and formerly living in Sand Springs.

“He hasn’t registered anywhere since 2017,” Ray said.

Ray said normally he would be notified by law enforcement where the person used to live, but he said he wasn’t.

He also said that the property Krueger was living on was too close to Charlies Park near 9th and Walnut.

“He advised me that he knew eventually it would catch up with him,” Ray said.

FOX23 reached out to Osage County, where police said he used to live. They said he has not registered since 2017.

They provided FOX23 with this statement as to why no one knew where he was.

“Per our records, in June 2017, offender called the Osage Co SO and stated he would be moving to Tulsa in Tulsa Co and would be going to the Tulsa Co SO to register. He did not come into the Osage SO and submit a change of address form. Offender has not registered with Osage Co since April of 2017. When he was moving to Tulsa Co he was moved to inactive in our system.”

“it is very important people stay up to date on the registry,” Ray said.

Collinsville Police said once he gets out of Tulsa County Jail, he will not be able to move back into the home he was living in in Collinsville.
