Communications Cable Technician in US-DC-Washington

Responsibilities:

•Installs: Pulls, terminates, and tests cables to include but not limited to Category 5E, 6, Coax (RG6, RG59), and Fiber Optic indoors or outdoors in new construction and/or Pre-existing government and commercial facilities.

•Fiber experience (Including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, Splicing).

•Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels.

•Takes responsibility and accountability for all company tools and equipment.

•Maintains good positive relationship with all customer and vendors at all times.

•Always maintains a professional appearance and attitude at work and/or while operating a company vehicle or while wearing any article of clothing bearing a company logo.

•Performs additional functions incidental to technician activities.

•Reviews floor plans and orders for accuracy prior to install.

•Performs duties as requested at times by management.

Requirements

•Certified Cable Technician
•Minimum 5-10 years field experience
•Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
•Must be able to pass a background check
•Must possess your own hand tools
•Reliable transportation
•Must submit to and pass a background and drug screening
•Local travel
