TASC, an Engility company, is seeking Computer Forensics Analysts. These positions directly support the mission by performing in-depth forensics examinations of computers, digital equipment and other electronic devices. Position are located throughout Northern Virginia.

The Computer Forensics Analyst is responsible for:
Conducting data forensic investigations for enterprise computer security incidents including but not limited to internal and external intellectual property theft, attacks/intrusions, and computer abuse.
Demonstrated skill performing operational software/hardware testing on digital equipment and other electronic devices
Ability to follow through on leads until all possible avenues in investigating a case have been exhausted
Prepare reports and documents case details, development and outcome
Analyze data and investigative information
Demonstrated skill in performing post-incident computer forensics without destruction of critical data
Required Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
Information security/information assurance and Computer Forensics experience
Minimum 5 years of operational software/hardware testing experience
Experience presenting forensic findings in the form of briefings and/or reports
Experience with computer forensics tools such as EnCase, Access Data, and FTK
Desired Qualifications:

Experience working in a team environment where one is required to take initiative on certain tasks
Industry certification such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC computer forensics certifications, or others
Experience working in a network security environment, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Incident Response Center (CIRC), or Cyber Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC)
Experience with software analytic tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Analyst Notebook, etc.)
