Coolio Finds Match Using Online Dating site BlackPeopleMeet.com | #blackpeoplemeet | romancescams | #scams

At BlackPeopleMeet.com, we have hundreds of thousands of registered user profiles to search. Even for Coolio, it’s a great place to start looking.

platinum rapper would use an online dating site to find his next love interest. But that is exactly what happened this week on Oxygen Networks’ new reality show, “Coolio Rules” (http://www.oxygen.com/tvshows/coolio), a show featuring the rapper’s family and is set in their Los Angeles neighborhood.

“We are thrilled to have been a part of Oxygen Network’s new show Coolio Rules,” said Josh Meyers, CEO of People Media, “At BlackPeopleMeet.com, we have hundreds of thousands of registered user profiles to search. Even for Coolio, it’s a great place to start looking.”

The series, which launched in October, shadows rapper Coolio (http://www.coolio.com) as he seeks to revive his music career, launch a catering business (Yes, Coolio cooks!), raise his 4 kids who live with him, and occasionally spend time with his friends and associates. Coolio succeeds at being a good role model for his daughters and rebellious son, but senses that there is something missing…love.

On a recent episode titled “Prodigal Son”, Coolio’s daughters decide it’s time for him to meet someone special and plan to surprise him with a blind date. After discussing a few social networks, the daughters and a visiting friend decide the best option would be BlackPeopleMeet.com. After completing a profile for their dad and using the site’s Flirt function, the three girls conduct a first round of phone interviews to decide which potential date to meet in person.

Coolio’s daughters eventually meet a number of potential dates for their dad before choosing “Rashida”, a very attractive young lady. Surprised at first, Coolio settles into the date and he and “Rashida” seemed to be having a great first date. Towards the end of dinner, both smile and confirm that they both hadn’t had that much fun in years. Coolio proclaims, “The woman they chose for me was beautiful, intelligent, and respectable.” The scene ends with Coolio and “Rashida” walking arm in arm into the sunset. A definite match!

Moral of the story: If a celebrity rapper like Coolio can use Online dating to find someone special, you can too! During this holiday season, think about BlackPeopleMeet.com, the Internet’s leading site for single black men and women.

Coolio’s Rules airs Tuesday nights on Oxygen at 9PM. The series is produced by RDF USA.
