After covid-19 outbreaks last week at several Indiana County school districts, the situation has eased a bit this week, but it’s not completely gone away.

Indiana Area yesterday reported a positive case in a student at East Pike Elementary. The district currently lists one active case there and one at Horace Mann Elementary.

Blairsville-Saltsburg has several cases, involving two employees at the Blairsville Elementary School, a student at Saltsburg Middle-High School, and a student at Blairsville Middle-High School.

Penns Manor reported a case on Monday involving a high school student who had not been in school since April 27th.

Purchase Line listed two student cases on Sunday, one at the elementary school and one at the high school.

None of the area school districts listing positive covid-19 cases have had to alter their instructional schedules.
