CYBER FORENSICS ANALYST

Key Role:

Perform duties as a Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Weapons and Tactics Advisor. Provide consultation and subject matter expertise for Cyber Protection Team (CPT) mission planning, to include tactics development, tactics evaluation and tactics training. Perform a solid foundational understanding of forensic analysis and malware detection tactics. Execute the processing, collection and application of DoD Cyber intelligence information. Prepare,evaluate and integrate commercially developed and government

-developed tools with existing DCO processes to support CPT mission teams. This position is in San Antonio, TX.

Basic Qualifications: 5 + years of experience in Malware Analysis 5+ years of experience in Digital Forensics Analysis, using tools such as EnCase, FTK, etc. 5+ years of experience with Air Force network IDS, host

-based IDS, detection and analysis operations Experience with network security tools such as Mandiant MIR, Splunk, Snort, Fidelis, Ida Pro, Ollydbg, etc.  Knowledge of all versions Windows and UNIX/Linux

-based operating systems with solid understanding of the windows registry DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent)

Additional Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Security or related degree Working experience with DoD Civilians, military, and government contractors ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), System Security

– Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Experience performing hard disk acquisition using forensics industry best practices Certification in digital forensics examination
