Cyber Operations SME

Location: Texas, San Antonio
Clearance: TS/SCI
Provide national level cyber operations subject matter expertise support, primarily by conducting or leading research and development efforts to advance the organization’s mission of providing effective CNO capabilities. Provide mission planning support and recommendations to assist in the execution of the organization’s mission.

Security Clearance:   TopSecret SCI – Willing to take Polygraph & comply with SAP Requirements

Education / Certifications:   BSin Computer Science or a related Field with ten plus (10+) years of experienceor MS in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field with five (5)years of experience, with three (3) years of direct experience; or equivalentcombination of training and experience.

Relevant Experience:            Oneto five (1-5) years of experience in teaching technical material to smallgroups, developing technical training on basic system, network, and/or malwareanalysis. One to three (1-3) years’ experience in correlation, trend, and/orfusion analysis.

Key Requirements:   Well-versedin real world OPLANS, CONPLANS, deliberate and contingency planning; knowledgeof the ATO production process, AOC Division functions, and software/systemscommonly used in an AOC as part of Cyber C2. Excellent analytical and technicalproblem solving skills; experience in basic scripting and /or programming in ahigher level language; significant understand of and practical experience withvarious Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP)

Position SpecificResponsibilities:

  • Provide national level operational cyberspace subject matter expertise to help frame, document and validate the Strategic Plan and Roadmap; provide recommendations and top level guidance, based on Joint Information Operations planning and execution in support of combat operations and Special Technical Operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and assist in presenting, when required, advocacy and information briefings to present before USAF and DOD communities.
  • Maintain reach-back support to a globally recognized network and informationtechnology research laboratory, as well as a globally relevant network operations team in order to facilitate the provision of responsive solutions to current and emerging mission requirements
