Cyber Security Analyst

Job Responsibilities
DELTA is has been tasked with recruiting for a Cyber Analyst to provide senior level IT/NMCI/IA Support to the Ship Acquisition Management Directorate for Team Ships in support of HM&E Control Systems.

Under this task, the contractor shall:
a. Identify requirements for the AN/USQ-82(V) that support Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), and Mission Assurance IAW DoDI 8500.01. (CDRL A005)
b. Perform cyber analyses and conduct assessments to evaluate threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts; determine how to eliminate or reduce threat capabilities; eliminate or reduce vulnerabilities; and assess, coordinate, and deconflict cyberspace operations. (CDRL A005)
c. Assist with development of risk models and perform risk assessments to analyze, test, and evaluate the relevant and critical aspects of AN/USQ-82(V) hardware, software, firmware, and operations IAW DoDI 8510.01. (CDRL A005)
d. Support the transition of AN/USQ-82(V) from Information Assurance (IA) and Certification & Accreditation (C&A) to the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
e. Provide analysis to support the selection, implementation, assessment, and monitoring of security controls throughout the AN/USQ-82(V) life cycle, including timely and effective configuration and vulnerability management. (CDRL A005) f. Assist with cybersecurity POA&M development, tracking and issue resolution. (CDRL A005)
g. Conduct testing throughout the lifecycle of AN/USQ-82(V) (including acquisition, design, development, developmental testing, operational testing, integration, implementation, operation, upgrade, or replacement) to protect, detect, characterize, counter, and mitigate cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
h. Evaluate all current and proposed change documents, including software documentation, for cybersecurity issues relating to the AN/USQ-82(V). (CDRL A005) i. Support consistent, well-informed, and ongoing security authorization decisions (through continuous monitoring), transparency of security and risk management-related information, and reciprocity.
j. Determine, coordinate, and procure consumables needed to support AN/USQ-82(V) cybersecurity development, testing, and evaluation. This applies to hardware, software, and firmware.

– Security + Certification
– Creative, poised, and flexible supporting SHIPS AM LeadershipDesired Qualifications:
