Cyber Security Analyst Advisor

Job Description:

One (1) full-time equivalent (FTE) is required to provide administrative and program management support to the cybersecurity division of the In-Service Aircraft Carrier program office, PMS 312I. Duties of the contractor (KTR) shall include:

Gathering data related to cybersecurity performance metrics. This data gathering activity will require engaging external government stakeholders to obtain cybersecurity performance metrics on aircraft carrier systems managed outside of the PMS 312 program office.

Updating and maintaining an Excel-based cybersecurity metrics tool. This activity will require advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Managing and organizing the Carrier Network Working Group, to include receiving and adjudicating agenda inputs, working group action tracking, monthly working group meeting schedule and organizing semi-annual in-person working group events.

Providing systems engineering and technical analysis related to the cost, schedule and performance of the cybersecurity program.

Producing information products such as PowerPoint presentations, memos and issue papers related to the cybersecurity program.

Traveling periodically to attend program reviews and technical information exchange meetings in support of the cybersecurity program.

Other duties as assigned.

The KTR shall possess at least moderate skills in Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Project. Technical experience in the cybersecurity industry is required. The KTR shall possess a BS from an accredited university in Management of Information systems or other related discipline,  cybersecurity certifications such as Security+ (desirable) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (highly desirable). The KTR shall also have excellent written and orals skills.

Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators. Investigates computer fraud or other electronic crimes, crack files and system passwords, detects steganography and recovers deleted, fragmented and corrupted data from digital media of all types. Ensures chain of custody and control procedures, documents procedures and findings in a manner suitable for courtroom presentation and prepares comprehensive written notes and reports. May be required to testify in court as expert witnesses.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS or equivalent + 9 yrs related experience, or MS + 7 yrs related experience
