Cybercrime threats bring worried companies to Darktrace’s door | #cybercrime | #infosec


A rush by companies to strengthen their defences against cyberattacks has driven a rapid increase in quarterly revenue at Darktrace.

The FTSE 250 cybersecurity specialist reported a 26.5 per cent rise in revenue in the three months to the end of March to $176.1 million, up from $139.2 million during the same period last year.

The company also lifted its prediction for this year’s revenue growth to 25.5 per cent, up by 0.5 per cent from the upper end of its previous guidance. It is the third time this year that it has increased its forecasts, after similar upgrades to its expected revenues and margins in both January and March.
