In anticipation of contract award, Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company is seeking a Cyber Securiity Integrator to support USASMD/ARSTRAT Future Warfare Center’s Joint Friendly Force Tracking Directorate. The purpose of this is to provide development, technical, analytical, planning, and system engineering support for the FWC in executing JFFT responsibilities.
Tasks include preparing Cyber Threat Trending and Exploitation analysis, developing comprehensive Risk Assessments, and evaluating overall risk posture of JFFT systems and networks .
Supervise team of 3 or 4 cybersecurity analysts.
Candidate must be able to research a variety of sources for current and evolving Cyber trends, understand and detail specific Cyber threats to DoD, USASMDC/ARSTRAT and JFFT networks and systems.
Candidate must have solid communication skills to explain characteristics and impacts of Information Technology (IT) vulnerabilities to JFFT systems and networks in briefings to senior leadership and system stakeholders. Analysis should provide cost effective mitigation strategies to minimize risk while enhancing baseline security posture.
As a senior principal Cyber Analyst supporting, the candidate will provide expertise in conducting risk assessments and building an overall threat picture of evaluated systems and networks.
Desired experience includes; performing penetration/vulnerability assessments, familiar with Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS-SIG), Assessment Language (OVAL), Software Weakness Evaluations (CWE), knowledge of DoD network engineering/security standards, working knowledge of Risk Management Framework, NIST, DISA STIGs, and eMASS.
Familiarity or past experience with SP 800-30 risk assessment processes is desired.
Technical skill set and background with various operating systems, networking protocols, IDS/IPS/firewall technologies, and DoD assessment tools and methods. Expertise with Windows Excel desired.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) technical degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Cyber Security related discipline is required.
Certification: IAM II/III, or IAT II/III. CISSP – AP/EP desired or CCNA with CEH certifications.
Position requires that candidate possess a current security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position. Position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
