CYBERSECURITY POLICY SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Role:
Provide strategic thought leadership to PM-ISE on Cybersecurity and counterterrorism issues, including mission programs division Cyber projects. Interact with stakeholders to identify, sponsor, develop, and coordinate policy related to issues of Cybersecurity and counterterrorism. Work in a dynamic, oversight role organization to provide information research and analyses for use by the client in preparing policies relevant to the federal government’s efforts to tackle Cyber-related topics and identify, validate, and implement the information sharing requirements and architecture among the Federal Cyber Centers to work collaboratively to enhance Cybersecurity information sharing among federal departments and agencies, and state and local government entities, with a particular focus on information exchanges at machine speed. Conduct policy analysis and project management and implement best practices knowledge to support the client’s needs and situation. Anticipate and identify client issues and concerns and propose creative solutions and high quality consulting advice, as appropriate. This position is located in Washington, DC, K Street, NW until September 2016 and then will move to Bethesda, MD.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with policy development
-Experience with working in the intelligence community
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree and 5 years of experience with analyzing policies and procedures related to issues of Cybersecurity and counterterrorism, working in the federal government in support of information sharing initiatives or cross organization or agency coordination efforts, or MS or MS degree and 3 years of experience with analyzing policies and procedures related to issues of Cybersecurity and counterterrorism, working in the federal government in support of information sharing initiatives or cross organization or agency coordination efforts

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience as a SME for pertinent US government and IC laws and policies
-Knowledge of policy hierarchy, including executive correspondence, directives, policies, standards, and tech specs
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
