Dating app Bumble offers free therapy to women who suffer sex assaults | News | #tinder | #pof | romancescams | #scams

The dating app Bumble is to start offering free therapy sessions for people who have experienced sexual assault after using its service, becoming the first such platform to do so.

The app, which puts women in charge of initiating contact with men, said that it had gone into partnership with Bloom, a free support service for victims of sexual abuse.

Those who report a sexual assault to Bumble via the app will be given a code for six free therapy sessions from Bloom, conducted over video.

The service is due to begin this year, with plans to expand to Bumble’s sister dating app, Badoo, next year.
