Delhi Government Introduces Child Safety Committee To Strengthen School Security | #childsafety | #kids | #chldern | #parents | #schoolsafey


In response to the Delhi High Court, the Delhi government constituted a Child Safety Commission to enforce safety standards in schools. By law, schools are required to complete a safety audit, and district officials will oversee the inspection to ensure compliance with the federal government’s commitments to student safety and workplace safety.

In response to the Delhi High Court directive, the Delhi government has taken significant steps to ensure the safety of students by setting up the Children’s Safeguarding Committee. The committee monitors compliance with the School Safety Minimum Standards, which include a comprehensive checklist for assessing school safety.

A report prepared by the Ministry of Education has highlighted the importance of complying with the court order in high schools in Delhi and advising principals of all schools in Delhi to complete a security audit. Schools should prepare reports from selected groups to support the monitoring process.
