Desktop Security Engineer

Job Description NTT DATA Services Federal Government, Inc. seeks a qualified Desktop Security Engineer to support a key contract in Arlington, VA. The candidate will be responsible for Desktop Security for an environment composed of 90% Intel based PC and 10% Apple workstations. This includes security assessments, forensic analysis, threat analysis, and workstation remediation in the event of a security incident. Also, workstation preparation and cleansing for work stations intended to be outside the US is in scope for this role. Basic Qualifications – 1+ years experience with Security Support (Virus/Malware Diagnosis/Remediation, Infected Equipment Analysis/Diagnosis/Remediation, Vulnerability Identification/Remediation, Scanning, Monitoring)

– 1+ years experience with Shavlik or other desktop patching tool

– 1+ years experience with automated McAfee EPO or similar tool

– CRM/Ticketing/ACD Systems
– Technology Recommendations
– Compliance Analysis (Maintenance, Licensing, Security, Encryption, Records Management)
– Mobile Devices (Remote Wipe, Security Analysis)
– Hardware Preparation/Return for Foreign Visits
– Effective written and oral communication skills
Education Bachelors degree preferred Experience Bachelors and 4 years’ experience or High School Diploma and 10 years’ experience.
